Transportation

Artificial intelligence nowadays is smart enough to help in managing and coping with the problems that happen in the transportation field (Onpassive & Onpassive, 2024). The example of AI in the transportation field is to help in traffic management and congestion reduction. AI could easily predict the traffic flow at that area or roads at a specific time. It can suggest alternatives routes to the user and reflow the traffic to solve the traffic congestion. Smart traffic lights may also be controlled by AI in real-time to reduce traffic jam.

On the other hand, AI is also widely used for autonomous vehicles. AI will make use of camera and radar on the vehicles to achieve visualization of the real time on the road condition. The data being captured from time to time will be calculated and help to navigate the AI and decision-making. For instance, Tesla Auto Pilot is one of the earliest self-driving systems that has been integrated in vehicles to provide consumer the Full Self Driving (SFD) features.

Besides the integration of AI in private vehicles, public transport can also make use of the AI to optimize real time routes and schedules. Passengers will have a better experience when the public transport routes are up to date and easier to plan their trip for a seamless travel experience.

Retail

Nowadays, artificial intelligence (AI) has become a very powerful tool in lots of different domains of industry, especially in retail industry. Firstly, AI can solve the problem in inventory management (Samuely, 2023). Sometimes retailers might struggle in maintaining the correct number of stocks, which may cause a problem of overstock or stock-out. By using AI, it helps us to analyse huge amounts of historical sales data, and current market conditions to predict the future demand. This enables retailers to optimize their inventory levels and reducing waste.

Moreover, AI can help those retailers to improve their marketing strategies and sales performance (Pedroto, 2024). It helps retailers understand their consumer behaviour and identifies effective marketing methods by analysing the customer feedback and sales data. With this, retailers can make their marketing to work better. They can make sure they're reaching the right people with the right messages, which helps sell more and make customers happier.

In conclusion, the artificial intelligence (AI) is very useful today in many industries especially retail industries. It helps retailers in the inventory management, marketing strategies and sales performance, by analysing huge amounts of data to improves their business efficiency, sales, and customer satisfaction. I believe that AI can bring more advantages to all the people in the future.

Healthcare

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is set to help the healthcare sector by tackling numerous challenges and significantly improving the quality of care. By using advanced algorithms and data analytics, AI can revolutionize disease diagnosis, customize treatment plans, boost operational efficiency, and enhance patient engagement.

One of the most crucial areas where AI can make a significant difference is in disease diagnosis and early detection. AI algorithms can analyse medical images such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans with exceptional precision. These algorithms can detect anomalies and diagnosing conditions like cancer, fractures, and neurological disorders more accurately and quickly than traditional methods.

AI also has a significant role in genomic research. By analysing genetic data, AI can identify mutations and variations linked to disease, thereby deepening our understanding of genetic disorders. Personalized genomics, powered by AI, offers individuals detailed genetic information and risk assessments, helping them make informed health decisions. As AI technology continues to advance, its integration into healthcare will undoubtedly lead to innovative solutions for some of the industry's most pressing challenges. Robotics

a) Object Recognition and Object Manipulation: AI technology can help robots identify different targets and objects, and perform precise grasping and manipulation, enabling robots to carry out various tasks such as logistics and manufacturing.

b) Learning and Adaptation Capability: Through machine learning and deep learning techniques, robots can learn from experience and gradually enhance their performance and abilities, adapting to various work environments and task requirements.

c) Human-Robot Interaction: AI can enable robots to interact with humans more intelligently, including technologies such as speech recognition, natural language understanding, and emotion recognition, allowing robots to better comprehend and respond to human commands and emotions.

d) Collaboration and Coordination: AI can assist in achieving collaboration and coordination among multiple robots, enabling them to collectively accomplish complex tasks, such as applications in rescue missions and construction.

e) Remote Operation and Monitoring: Through AI technology, people can remotely monitor and operate robots, enabling remote control and management, which is particularly useful in hazardous environments or scenarios requiring prolonged monitoring.

Sports

Thanks to generative AI and machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI) has been significantly affecting nearly every industry. Sports are among the best examples in this case. One of the main problems that could be solved using AI is injury prevention. Injuries have a significant impact on an athlete’s career. By using AI-powered real-time movement analysis, coaches are able to identify and predict any possible injury risks, as well as modifying suitable training for their athletes (Khanna, A., Forbes, 2024).

Besides that, AI also plays a huge role in refereeing and officiating issues. For example, in football, unfair decisions might be made against players on field. Therefore, the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) is introduced to ensure fair and accurate officiating. VAR can be enhanced by using AI which provide real-time decision-making, offside detection, and post-match analysis.

Other than that, AI also helps in developing and modifying game plans by analyzing data regarding the performance of their own team/athlete and their opponents. AI will examine opponents’ playing patterns, past game data and other factors. With the help of AI, organizations or coaches can make better-informed decisions on selecting players, deciding team formations and adjusting the team’s playing style.

Education

In education Al could help solve many problems faced when we pursue our learning. For example, the use of AI such as ChatGPT allows us to find answer accurately and relatively to the topic we are researching upon. Not only that but it also helps us find necessary website to use for research and to find important information.

Not only that but schools with outdated labs or technology would not learn or teach as efficient as other schools with updated technology. For example, the Al labs built in some vocational schools are fundamental infrastructure equipped with curriculum resources, hardware, software and teaching platform to carry out Al education. These can be established through regional projects.

Other than that, there is a robot named UGOT which is a versatile and innovative educational robotic kit that offers a wide range of capabilities and modes of operation (UGOT AI Education Robotic Kits - UBTECH, n.d.). This is possible due the fact of its wide range of powerful AI features high computing power, and modular design. This robot provides user with a simple and engaging way to experience advance artificial intelligence and robotic technology. UGOT uses the main control to integrate the CPU,GPU and NPU chips which provides 1TOPS of computing power which enables multi algorithm processing and offline training which fits more learning scenarios with endless possibilities.
